The objectives of Policy is to:

• develop a more professional and robust public sector infrastructure in Wales through the continued development on Value Wales' training and development programme
• collate key procurement information from the Welsh public sector, combining historical expenditure with a profile of future major projects
• develop and implement the Procurement Efficiency Measurement System, and provide advice and guidance on recording savings
• develop a Procurement Routeplanner suite of document templates and guidance that will promote a consistent best practice approach to procurement drawing from best practice across all Value Wales programmes.
